Ladies and gentlemen, it is an enormous honor to stand here to utter my perspective. Before participating in the social practice, almost each day we are inundated in a sea of learning. Since we got there, however, everything has changed drastically.
Do you still remember the first day when we arrived there? Well, for me that is definitely unforgettable. To be honest, everything around me just make me feel sick: the strict rules, the overcrowded dormitory, and the losing of my lovely, fascinating cell phone. It was just like I was separated from my normal life, being fierce towards the uncomfortable circumstance. It is no exaggeration to say that I spent the majority of my time complaining the life, attempting to find a way to leave with my pride from nowhere.
Earthquakes often come unexpectedly, the first treasure I obtained there precisely was to put down the pride. It was the second night there. Our drillmaster, a taciturn man, asked us a question: who are you when you leave your parents? It was that question that urged me to contemplate thoughtfully about myself: who am I when I leave my family, being alone, losing my phone? At that moment, his words made me shocked. Actually, for me, the first valuable thing I got was to know myself. I gradually founded that, the actual character of us, leaving the family, is a thing that really significant but always ignored by us. In fact, one of the most vital things of growing up is to know who you are, and focus on what you lack, rather than what you have. And I cannot stop feeling lucky that I had this experience at the point of becoming an adult.
The team flags were preserved in An xi , but from the bottom of our heart, they will stand there forever, blowing in the wind. No matter how far we will go, we, everyone who experienced it, will remember it and cherish that memory in the rest of our lives.
That is all, thank you for your time.
